StudentIgnite's web chat lets students talk with Herbot on your website. You add it with a short script.
Choose how to set it up
- I'll set this up now: you or someone on your team adds the script to your site.
- Send instructions to my developer: we email setup instructions to whoever looks after your website. You can finish this step anytime from your dashboard.
Add the script
Copy your installation snippet, then add it to your site in one of two ways:
- Google Tag Manager: add the snippet as a tag that fires on all pages.
- Your site's footer: paste the snippet just before the closing
</body>tag.
Good to know
Web chat is open to any visitor, including international students. If a visitor's stated country is different from where they appear to be browsing from, Herbot asks them to confirm.
