Step 9 – Set up SMS messaging

Herbot uses SMS to reach leads quickly and keep conversations moving. In this step, you’ll connect your SMS provider.

What you’ll do

• Select your SMS provider (for example, MessageMedia).

• Enter your API key or connection details.

• Confirm your sending number.

Opt-out compliance

When a student replies with STOP, StudentIgnite automatically suppresses them and updates your CRM. This keeps you compliant with SMS rules.

Tip

Use the same SMS provider you already use for marketing to keep all messages in one place.
